THE QUIET CORNERS
We’re not talking about hidden alleys
or secret parks
though those count, too.
We mean the café
where the owner remembers your order
before you speak.
The bench under a tree
that never appears
on any “must-see” list.
The staircase washed in late light,
leading nowhere
except into stillness.
These places don’t ask for photos.
They don’t need hashtags.
They simply exist
and if you let them,
they’ll exist quietly in you,
long after you’ve left.
